I'm kinda bittersweet over the whole Reno 911 thing. Most of those cats used to be part of a comedy troupe known as "The State." They had a show on MTV for awhile, I thought it was actually rather humorous.

But....

One of its members, Kevin Allison, graduated high school with me, and in fact I used to sit at his lunch table quite a bit. Many times I'd be watching "The State" and I'd see something that, well, it was like deja vu all over again.

Now, he never made it over to Reno 911 the series but I see where he does make an appearance in the movie. So I don't know, I better not see any of my material in there or else it may be time to file a royalties lawsuit....

I know what you mean Lew, I've been thinking about suing Kevin Spacey because he said "Pass the ketchup please" in American Beauty. I mean, I'm like HEY!, I OWN that friggin phrase!

Oh it's even worse, Lan. I was eating at Mike Fink's back in the spring of 1988. I was crossing the street, right before the suspension bridge, when I almost got run over by some punk in a station wagon. As it passes, I notice a camera on the back, and following it is a convertible with Tom Cruise, Dustin Hoffman and that hot chick.

Well, in the movie, they are shown crossing the Suspension Bridge but magically the LewMan is nowhere to be found in the background. I was pissed at those cats, too.
